After 17 years in a private practice in Lubbock, Dr. Amy Cruth has joined Premier Vision's elite team. She graduated from Texas A & M University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in nutrition and a Magna Cum Laude with distinction. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1986, her doctorate in nutrition and nutrition from Texas State University in 1987, and several letters of clinical excellence. She also holds a Kappa Baccalaureate degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Aragon completed his residency in general ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Klein also completed a residency at Texas A & M University Medical Center in Houston and entered a private practice after graduating. He completed his first year of medical studies at Texas State University, followed by a two-year scholarship to Baylor College of Medicine in Dallas, Texas.
In 2004, he returned to Amarillo to open his own practice with his wife, Dr. Joy Berry, at the University of Texas Health Science Center's San Antonio Medical Center.
He is the leader of the Central Church of Christ and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Great Cities and Missions. Klein Eye Center in Amarillo was opened in 1998 and affiliated with Panhandle Eye Group LLP in 2007. He also acts as a regional administrator, helping to bring innovation to members and improve patient care.
He was a member of the board of the TOA organization for many years, culminating in his role as president of the organization in 2005. He has also been a member of the Executive Committee since 1978 and was President from 2010 to 2011. He served for many years in the Texas Department of Public Health and Human Services and the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
After receiving a fellowship in ophthalmology and reconstructive surgery from the University of Texas at Houston, Dr. Murrell returned to the Texas Panhandle. He started at Amarillo College and graduated from West Texas A & M University in 1996. Although he was born and raised here, he graduated from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in 2000 and was named the state's Young Optometrist of the Year by the Texas Optometric Association in 2002. Dr. Gerald, who graduated in 1974, is a comprehensive ocularist with the panhandle Eye Group.

He is a specialist in cataract and refractive surgery and certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery for the sub-specialization cataract, implant and refractive surgery. He also holds a master's degree in ophthalmology from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and has performed over 30,000 cateract implants in his long-term practice.
Dr. Gerald is a board member - certified in cataract, implant and refractive surgery and sub-specialization in ophthalmic surgery. Dr. Murrell is certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery as an ophthalmologist and is also an ophthalmic surgeon with a master's degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine and a PhD in ophthalmic surgery from the University of Texas Medical School.
Dr Ryan was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2009 and has been a member of the Southwest Retina Specialists since 2011. Dr. McCarty is an active member of Hillside Christian Church and is happy to give back to his community by attending community events, such as performing cataract surgery.
McCarty enjoys his job as a doctor, his wife and the tussle over his three children, but he also loves hunting with his adoring Llewellyn, Setter Knox, golfing and working on the family ranch. In his spare time, Dr. Houlette enjoys spending time supporting the soddies, running his business, weaving tapestries, fishing and hunting.

Dr. Cornett finds it very satisfying to get to know his patients and help them see the world more comfortably and clearly. His favourite aspect of Premier Vision is the constant evolution of technology and personal relationship with patients. The joy of seeing a patient's face when he receives the gift of vision after treatment for an eye disease is his most rewarding aspect. He claims that when his eyesight improves, he is happy and very proud of it.
He is also passionate about alleviating the suffering caused by diseases such as dry eyes, and often helps doctors train doctors on how to provide real relief to patients with these diseases. Dr. McCarty really enjoys coming to work every day and experiencing the dramatic improvements in patients "lives by restoring their eyesight.
Dr. Cornett often participates in clinical research, which allows him to evaluate new advances in contact lenses before they are released to the market. Dr. Berry focuses on listening to patients and helping them answer their questions and solve problems with their vision. His favourite subject as a doctor is the carefree, serene manner of his patients who adore him.
